JULY 19th - SEPTEMBER 19th -  7th Street from Cherry North to Chestnut from July 19th - September 19th for installation of landscaped islands and improvements.

AUGUST 30th - SEPTEMBER 3rd - Wallace Avenue from Fruitridge to Brown will be closed (open to local traffic) for railroad crossing repair.

SEPTEMBER 1st - SEPTEMBER 7th - The intersection of 23rd and Sycamore will be closed for sewer repair.

SEPTEMBER 2nd - The intersection of 14th & Locust will be closed for signal repair from 7:00 a.m. until Noon.

SEPTEMBER 4th - Elm Street from 12th to 13th will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for th Foursquare Gospel Church Festival.

SEPTEMBER 5th - 7th Street from Elm to just north of the CSX railroad will be closed for the Corner Wing Fling.

SEPTEMBER 6th - The following streets will be closed for the Labor Day Parade:

~ Wabash Avenue from 4th Street to 13th Street

~ Poplar Street from 1st Street to 4th Street

~ 12th Street from Ohio Boulevard to Eagle Street

~ 11th Street from Ohio Boulevard to Eagle Street

~ 4th Street from Wabash Avenue to Poplar Street

~ 1st Street from Oak Street to Poplar Street

SEPTEMBER 8th - Hamilton Drive in front of 320 Hamilton will be closed from 7:00 a.m. until Noon for removal of tree from private property.

SEPTEMBER 10th - SEPTEMBER 12th  - Wabash Avenue from 6th to 8th and 7th Street from Cherry to Ohio will be closed on the 10th at 1:00 p.m. until the 12th at 4:00 a.m. for the Blues at the Crossroads Festival.

SEPTEMBER 11th - Ohio Boulevard from 6th Street to Brown Avenue (north lane of Ohio) and Brown Avenue from Ohio Boulevard to Wabash Avenue will be closed from 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for the Wabash Valley Road Runners Half Marathon.

SEPTEMBER 11th - 9th Street from Wabash Avenue to Cherry will be closed for Farmers Market Downtown.

SEPTEMBER 18th - 9th Street from Wabash Avenue to Cherry will be closed for Farmers Market Downtown.

SEPTEMBER 18th - North 16th Street from Liberty north to the alley and Liberty from North 16th west to the fence row will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the Liberty Live Block Party Bash.

SEPTEMBER 22nd - SEPTEMBER 26th - Cherry Street from 8th to 9th and 9th Street from Wabash to Eagle will be closed at 5:30 p.m. on September 22nd until 6:00 p.m. on September 26th for the Downtown Street Fair.

SEPTEMBER 23rd - SEPTEMBER 26th - 8th Street from Wabash Avenue to Ohio Street will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd through 5:00 p.m. on the 26th.

SEPTEMBER 24th - SEPTEMBER 26th - 8th Street from Wabash to Cherry will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on September 24th until 6:00 p.m. on September 26th for the Downtown Street Fair.

OCTOBER 2nd - The following streets will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. for the Race for the Cure.

~ 4th Street from Poplar to Tippecanoe

~ Tippecanoe from 4th Street to 8th Street

~ 8th Street from Tippecanoe to Spruce Street

~ 9th Street from Spruce to Poplar Street

~ Wabash from 6th Street to 9th Street

~ Spruce Street from 8th Street to 9th Street

OCTOBER 8th - OCTOBER 10th - Chestnut from 9th Street to the alley east of 9th Street will be closed from 1:00 p.m. on October 8th through 12:00 p.m. on October 10th for the Ballyhoo Indiana State University Homecoming  Weekend Party

OCTOBER 9th - The following streets will be closed on for the ISU Homecoming Parade:

~ 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th from Wabash to Locust

~ Cherry Street from the alley behind the state building to 5th Street

~ 8th Street from Larry Bird to Tippecanoe

~ Chestnut Street from 8th Street to east side of the CSX Railroad

~ Wabash from 5th to 9th
